 Day 1: Edinburgh

The beautiful City of Edinburgh is an enchanting place for a break this year. With lots to see and do you will be spoiled for choice. For a capital city, Edinburgh is a surprisingly green place boasting many wide open spaces where you can take in amazing views. There is more to Edinburgh than just sightseeing, there are shops, pubs, music sessions, clubbing. Indulge yourself with the vast amount of world class restaurants such as the Tower Restaurant whilst watching the sun set over the city.

 

Day 2: Glasgow

Glasgow is one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe. Glasgow boasts world famous art collections and the most exciting nightlife in Scotland, not to mention the best shopping outside of London. Glasgow combines urban mayhem and is so friendly; immerse yourself in a down to earth metropolis that is all about fun. People from Glasgow are known as Glaswegians.

 

Day 3: Fort William

Fort William is the largest town in the Highlands; it is the centre of an area full of extremes, the highest mountain in Britain, the most westerly point of mainland Britain, the deepest freshwater loch in Britain and the deepest seawater loch in Europe. Fort William has a rich clan history and offers unspoilt sandy beaches, magnificent forests and stunning glens. It’s the perfect place to explore and relax.

 

Day 4: Inverness

 Inverness is the capital city in the Highlands where you will find the warmest of welcomes. Inverness has a great location astride the River Ness, people flock here with the intent on monster hunting at the nearby Loch Ness. Immerse yourself in their culture, much of it based on the city’s Gaelic Heritage.

 

Day 5: Aberdeen

  • Hazlehead Park
  • Bennachie Hill Walks

Aberdeen, also known as “The Flower of Scotland” lies in the picturesque spot on the North Sea Coast. Aberdeen is Scotland’s third biggest cities which has a cultural tradition plus modern facilities. Aberdeen is known throughout Scotland as the granite city and also a wealthy city due to the affluence brought by the North Sea oil industry. Hazel head Park has some pretty ornamental gardens. The beach boasts some of the finest sands in Britain.
